Peacock is an American over-the-top video streaming service owned and operated by the Television and Streaming division of NBCUniversal, a subsidiary of Comcast. Named after the NBC logo, the service launched on July 15, 2020. The service primarily shows content from NBCUniversal studios and other third-party content providers, including television series, films, news, and sports programming.

With Peacock, you can stream hundreds of hit movies, iconic TV shows, current NBC hits, and Peacock Channels 24/7, plus daily live news, late night, and pop culture. You will also get access to live sports, kids’ movies and shows, hit Spanish-language TV shows and news from Telemundo—all for free.

The service is available in a free ad-supported version with limited content, while premium tiers include a larger content library and access to additional NBC Sports and WWE Network content. WWE content is carried within a branded channel on Peacock, which includes a selection of WWE Network content on Peacock's free tier, and the full WWE Network library for Peacock Premium subscribers, including its original programming, archive content, and all WWE pay-per-view and WWE Network-exclusive events live and on-demand.

The service includes at least 15,000 hours of content without a subscription, and an additional 5,000 hours of content for Premium subscribers.

Peacock also offers a lineup of around 25 curated digital linear channels, including long-form and digital-originated programming content from NBCUniversal's broadcast and cable properties (such as Today All Day, a digital extension of NBC's morning show Today), as well as third-party content providers. They are designed to emulate a traditional broadcast programming experience (similar to services like Pluto TV and Xumo, the latter of which was purchased by NBCUniversal parent Comcast in February 2020).

Peacock is supported by a number of devices, including:

Android TV, Apple TV, COX, LG TV, Roku, Vizio TV, Xfinity

Computer
Chrome OS, macOS, Windows PC

Mobile & Tablet
Android Phones & Tablets, iPhone and iPad

How to stream Peacock TV outside the USA with Smart DNS

Peacock TV is geo-restricted and its stream is limited to the US territory. If you want to access the service, Smart DNS will redirect part of your Internet traffic which is responsible for detecting your location via a DNS server masking your original IP (without actually changing it) and allowing you to access a lot of geo-restricted services supported by Getflix Smart DNS, including Peacock TV. You can still access your favorite local websites and your connection speed will remain unchanged.

The first thing that needs to be done is to sign up with Getflix and register your IP in our system. You will have 14 days of free trial to try out our service. In the next step, configure your device for Smart DNS. Detailed setup instructions for multiple operating systems and devices can be found here. If you would like to have access to Peacock TV on all your home network-connected devices, you can also do it by configuring your home router.

If you happen to run into any problems with configuration, our support is always ready to help out. You can either contact us or visit our Knowledge Base and search for relevant articles.
